Spring is here! The days are getting longer and bright, and March rains, protagonists of the winter, are giving space little by little to the warm sunshine of April. Now, it is the ideal time to reforest!

The Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Puerto Banus (ACOBANÚS) and  Marbella Town Hall want to invite the whole community to participate in the “Marbella Reforestation Campaign” which will take place on Saturday April 20,  from 10 am in the area around  La Mairena and Santa Maria Urbanisation in Marbella, one of the most devastated  areas by the fire that swept Marbella last September.

The activity consist of the plantation of a tree of native species (carobs, olives and pines) and I will be guided by forest experts from Marbella Town Hall who will offer participants an informative talk about what happened and they will show  the steps required to perform a correct planting.

This initiative is of a free and just requires prior registration for participation.

The meeting point will be the Building Acosol, Elviria, A7, Km.190,7  Marbella  on Saturday April 20 at 10 am. From there, guided by foresters of the Department of the Environment of the City of Marbella, the group will depart to the spaces destined for planting. The Reforestation Campaign, organized by ACOBANÚS and  Marbella Town Hall, has the collaboration of Arboretum and the support of LookOut Magazine, BlueBay Group and Blue Gourmet Group establishments in Puerto Banus: Chateau Mona Lisa, Black & White, Carpaccio and Aretusa.

With this initiative, ACOBANÚS continues in its efforts to support our community, not only in the organization of activities and charity events, but also through actions aimed at protecting the environment and awareness of our society.
