As of Nov 1, come to pick up your tree in Puerto Banus and register for reforestation on 21 and 28

The fire in early September has affected much of our territory and the neighboring villages on the Costa del Sol.

Beginning November 12 and until April 30, this reforestation program will serve to engage visitors to Puerto Banus in the campaign of reforestation of the mountains of Marbella. During these months, Acobanús establishments and companies will give away a tree to be planted when green-lighted by environmental technicians. A total of 10,000 trees will be given away.

From 12 November until April 20, people who make a purchase or consume in establishments participating in the campaign, will take home a tree, “commiting” to look after it in order to plant it in the mountains on the appointed days.

Each person taking a tree with them will be awarded a “Reforestation” Diploma. Each tree will be labeled with instructions for its care and maintenance.

Along with the trees, a piggy bank will be placed so that the people collecting it can contribute with a donation for an environmental organization of Marbella. At the time of donation, apart from the label, a sticker will also be put with the cause of the donation.

The Reforestation will take place on Sundays, 21 and 28 April, from 10 until 14 hours, so that all participants can enjoy open facilities and those who wish to, stay for lunch in Puerto Banús.

From April 1 through to April 15, an email remainder will be sent.

ACOBANÚS will collaborate in this campaign with the environmental group Ecologistas en Acción and will have a garden centre at their disposal.
